Andy Martinelli Clark is an artist and occasional critic whose writing has appeared online in BmoreArt and Artforum. His visual art consists of process-driven paintings and works on paper whose signifiers echo the incongruent nature of our world. Clark regards his drawings, prints, and paintings as fictional constructions—each with their own distinct attitude, spacial propositions, and formal idiosyncrasies.

His work has been included in group exhibitions at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA; Notre Dame of Maryland University, Baltimore, MD; Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, Hyattsville, MD; VisArts, Rockville, MD; and at the Delaplaine Arts Center, Frederick, MD, among others. Clark received a BFA in 2019 from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he studied painting and printmaking.
